Message from the President:
The Board of Directors of the National Gloster Club has approved the proposal to present a Virtual NGC Exhibition 2020 to fill the educational void created with the absence of our NGC Show this year.
Due to the restrictions imposed by state and local authorities to limit the spread of the COVID 19 pandemic, we are unable to hold the regular NGC Show this year. To address some of the lost show benefits, we are promoting NGC Virtual Exhibition 2020 as a feature for membership outreach.
The virtual allows the continuance of promoting and focusing in the interest of our glosters as a pandemic alternative, which provides a medium in which we:
- Perpetuate our love for the fancy and stimulates new interest in the hobby.
- Serve as a united outreach to near and distanced members and friends.
- Provide a medium for diverse interaction as we seek to trend the progression of our efforts.
- It is a platform on which we can elevate our elective birds for expert evaluation for proximity to the Standard of Excellence.
We missed our annual summer picnic this year and some may use this virtual exhibition to stay in touch with each other while we share the fruits of our hard work and our comparative acumen.
We feel that it’s our duty to provide this avenue for camaraderie in these challenging times. Best wishes from our Board. Stay safe and remain healthy.
